Since I am sometimes a little short of ideas for posts, I decided to let my cat take over from time to time and let you have a look at my life through her eyes. So, without further ado, here I present (ta-da-da) – imagine drums, fanfare, and all – Her Majesty the Cat.
Yup, that’s me. Don’t I look grand?! My official name is Pumpkin in Slovene, but my housemaid (maid in short, you might know her as Pepca) seems unable to remember that and just calls me cat or kitty.
Up until last year I used to live in a shabby old castle (read: house), but I only used it to sleep in when the weather was bad. Otherwise, I was happy to explore the jungle (read: garden) around it.
Now, I live in a brand new palace (read: flat) which is smaller than the castle, but so much more comfortable.
So, let me tell you some basics you want to know about me.
Top five things I like:
- Food.
- Napping.
- Supervising my maid’s work.
- Hiding behind the TV.
- Sitting on the kitchen window ledge looking outside.
Top five things I hate:
- Visitors.
- Trains (in particular, but also any other vehicle).
- Fleas’ repellent ampoules.
- Vacuum cleaner.
- Bathing.
So much for the beginning. Next time, I’ll tell you, well …I don’t know yet, I’ll see what when the time comes.
