MY ANSWER:
Since I’m living in Europe, the obvious answer is no. We do have some similar events, and I attend sometimes, but not every year.
I'm in Canada so those things are hard to go to, but we have a similar event in September that I go to (though not as big.)

Discovering your blog -- very nice! I have only come across two bloggers on the Hop who are going to BEA (although I admit I don't hop around to every blog). So, those of us who aren't going are in good company. :)
