Teaser Tuesday #19

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

MY TEASERS:

"They walked from the car past the drummers and the bulldozer and the construction crew, and Ethan noticed that each person they passed seemed to freeze in the middle of whatever they were doing. One old Indian guy stared so hard at Ethan he thought it might leave a mark on the back of his head."

Second Glance by Jodi Picoult, p 59.

  1. I haven't heard about this one, but I'm curious what is so different about this person. Makes me think of the previews I've seen for that TLC show on the conjoined twins who look like one person with two heads. Here's Mine

  3. Interesting! Nice Tease!!

I’m cheating a little bit this week – My teaser isn’t from my current read, but from a Fantasy novel I read a few years ago:

  6. Thanks for visiting Tuesday Teaser post. The last line made quite an impression as imagined it. That stare is unnerving. :D
