Teaser Tuesday (April 5, 2011)

Trying something new again, here is my first Teaser Tuesday post.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
MY TEASERS:

I've just begun reading Sepulchre by Kate Mosse. I think these two sentences from page four will stir your curiosity.

Sepulchre (Languedoc Trilogy, #2)

"Compelled by the act of an innocent girl in a graveyard in Paris something is moving within the stone sepulchre. Long forgotten in the tangled and overgrown alleyways in the Domaine de la Cade, something is walking."

  6. @ Ashley @ The Bookish Brunette: Yes, I read Labyrinth and I fell totally in love with Mosse's writing. The Winter Ghosts are awesome also.

@ Janet Ruth: It is a bit scary, but I love Mosse's hinting on mysterious, frightening things...there's probably something sad behind it, I can't wait to find out.
